Lĩnh vực hoạt động

    Nghiên cứu cơ lý tính vật liệu có cấu trúc nhiều thành phần; giới hạn chịu lực các kết cấu, vật thể đàn dẻo.
    Nghiên cứu các thiết bị công nghệ cao phục vụ đời sống xã hội.
    Đánh giá không phá hủy, siêu âm định lượng vật thể.

Thành tựu chính đã đạt được

a) Các đề tài nghiên cứu Cơ bản

    Đề tài NCCB 2014-2016 “Ứng xử cơ học của một số vật liệu không đồng nhất & kết cấu đàn dẻo”. Mã số: 107.02-2013.20 (Chủ trì: PGS.TSKH Phạm Đức Chính, đã nghiệm thu).
    Đề tài NCCB 2016-2018 “Mô phỏng cơ học vật liệu phức hợp và kết cấu đàn dẻo”. Mã số: 107.02-2015.29 (Chủ trì: PGS.TSKH Phạm Đức Chính, đã nghiệm thu).
    Đề tài NCCB 2017-2019 “Đánh giá không phá hủy các kết cấu kỹ thuật bằng phương pháp sóng dẫn”. Mã số: 02-2016.23 (Chủ trì: TS. Phan Hải Đăng, đã hoàn thành, đang nghiệm thu).
    Đề tài NCCB 2018-2020 “Mô hình vật liệu có cấu trúc và phân tích hỏng dẻo kết cấu”. Mã số: 107.02-2018.15 (Chủ trì: PGS.TSKH Phạm Đức Chính, đang thực hiện).

    Đề tài hợp tác Nga Việt 2016-2017 “Xây dựng phương pháp giải tích – số để xác định hệ số cường độ, tốc độ, biến dạng cho bài toán chảy dẻo đối xứng trục và ứng dụng vào nghiên cứu thực nghiệm”. Mã số: VAST.HTQT.Nga.02/16-17 (Chủ trì: KS. Nguyễn Mạnh Thành, đã nghiệm thu).
    Đề tài hợp tác Nga Việt 2018-2019 “Xây dựng phương pháp các đường đặc tính đề giải bài toán kỳ dị trong quá trình chảy dẻo của vật liệu đồng nhất từng đoạn”. Mã số: QTRU01.05/18-19 (Chủ trì: PGS.TSKH Phạm Đức Chính, đang thực hiện).

    Đề tài Postdoc cấp Học viện Khoa học Công nghệ (GUST) 2018-2020 “Sóng siêu âm truyền và tán xạ trong các cấu trúc đa lớp: Ứng dụng trong lĩnh vực đánh giá không phá hủy và siêu âm định lượng xương”. (Chủ trì: TS. Phan Hải Đăng, đang thực hiện).
    Đề tài Postdoc cấp Học viện Khoa học Công nghệ (GUST) 2018-2019 “Vật liệu chất dẻo cốt sợi thủy tinh GFRP: chế tạo, thực nghiệm, đánh giá và mô phỏng tính chất cơ vĩ mô (mô đun đàn hồi, hệ số poisson)”. (Chủ trì: TS. Nguyễn Lương Thiện, đang thực hiện).

c) Đào tạo đại học và sau đại học

    PGS Phạm Đức Chính đào tạo sau đại học tại Học viện KH&CN và ĐHQG TPHCM
    TS Vũ Lâm Đông và TS Phan Hải Đăng giảng dạy đại học tại Đại học Công nghệ – Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội
    Đã đào tạo 3 TS: Vũ Lâm Đông (2016), Nguyễn Văn Luật (2017), Trần Trung Dũng (2018); 3 ThS: Vương Thị Mỹ Hạnh (2015), Trần Nguyên Quyết (2016), Nguyễn Thị Hải Duyên (2018).
    Đang hướng dẫn 4 NCS, trong đó 2 người đã bảo vệ luận án Tiến sỹ cấp Cơ sở.
